Incredible $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
After a brief run earlier this year, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. Additionally, there exist three different bundles offered in this deal.
The Main Attraction
The standout feature is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers
Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the applications only function on Windows.
Charitable Component
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
